In the current atmosphere of heighten racial tensions dominating the public square, I am developing a counter balance to the Eurocentric suppression of knowledge about the roles of black people in Scripture, I will develop a program that fills this knowledge gap by educating people on Blacks in the Bible.
My second goal is to heighten awareness of the signs of the return of Jesus Christ. Since there appears to the dearth of knowledge regarding the 2ndComing of Jesus Christ, I am composing a Bible Prophecy presentation.
STRATEGY
Regarding the 2nd Coming, I will develop a teaching designed to eliminate ignorance of the signs of the Second Coming that was once preached in churches but now seen on television. By listing Bible prophesies indicative of the Lord's coming in checklist form.
I intend to train ministers and laity to a level of competence regarding the role Hamites have played in Scripture. They will learn about African royalty in the Bible and I will expose the treacherous teaching of blacks as cursed and inform people of the black ancestry in the lineage of Jesus the Jewish Messiah based Genesis 38 wherein Judah, the father of Jews, marries a Canaanite and fathers Jews by her.
The African Bible College is a cross-cultural ministry itself. I am founding it with seminary Bible professors I met in Nigeria who have vowed to help me by teaching the lessons I send. They will also use my book The Complete Works of Blacks in the Bible as a teaching tool to equip the saints against racism.
Here are additional samples of lessons sent to the ABC.
Relections
When I reflect on my life as a Christian, I am very engaged in intercultural communication. I belong to a Korean church fellowship for the passed three years, after having pastored an African American church for as many years. I led an Hispanic Bible study group at my work place. Earlier, I was ordained in a white congregation in Overland Park, Kansas under a white female pastor and her husband who pastored there also. Therefore, when I survey my various experiences as an intercultural Christian, I see that I am well versed in intercultural engagement as exhibited in artifacts below.
The Korean church that I belong to is vitally interested in disciplining those saved by having faith n Jesus. They insist on us, its members not relying on their own thoughts to accomplish works for God, but relying on God to accomplish the work that stands impossibly before them. hence, as a poor church of less than 40 members, with no money we by faith raise enough money within 90 days to rent out the Verizon theater in Grand Prairie, TX and pass out over 100,000 tickets for people to come see a world class Christian play performance and hear our senior church's choir that ranked the #1 Choir in the world in Italy in 2016. When I see all of their Korean church descend on Texas in December to bring this about, I see what a fully functional Body of Christ looks like in a Church as well as what it feels like to be included in churches from different cultures. My long-term take away is to always be involved interculturally. It has been difficult raising up a Bible training center in Africa but it was most rewarding visiting there and talking to the fruit of my labor as seen in the artifacts below.
THE COMPLETE WORKS OF BLACKS
(HAMITES) IN THE BIBLE VOL. I-IV
This artifact is the cover of the book that I minister from in African regarding the role of Blacks in the Bible. I also minister at a Korean Church in Texas called Good News Dallas Church. This has my home church until this internship.
My experience in cultural engagement
My most rewarding experiences in cultural engagements has been in Africa with natives of Ghana, Nigeria, Togo, Kenya, and Ethiopia. The people of that continent extend so warm a welcome that I believe that are unmatched in any society. Even, God in Scripture reminded His Hebrew people of how they were treated when they arrived in Africa. When I preach as seen in the artifacts the people respond warmly to my interactive style of communicating the gospel of Christ.
When it comes to servant leadership, their Christians are role models for the world. They are given to hospitality and are so humble and loving with open hearts that one wonders who is actually in the third world. When I travel to Korea, to a Bible conference they too are given to hospitality and are vitally concerned with people having the correct understanding of the plan of salvation by grace through faith. My church is putting on a Christmas Cantata at the Verizon Theater and is concerned about every one hearing that salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ. I assist in going from door to door to pass out over a hundred thousand free tickets to the public to come and enjoy a play, Christmas music, and hear the plan of salvation. Lastly, I am attempting to take ministers with me on my annual trip to Africa this year. This cross cultural boundary breaking will do wonders for people who have pre-suppositions regarding Africa and its inhabitants. An Artifact seen on the initial page shows how I aid ministers in coming to Africa to fulfill the great commission of the gospel of Christ. While artifacts below highlight me building a Bible training school in Africa and running into some roadblocks. In my current Hebrew class, I found myself blessed with a Rabbi as a friend I made when I attended Beth Torah Temple to understand the Jewish faith years ago.
